Pincher Creek Emergency Services and Pincher Creek RCMP responded to a call Sunday April 26, at approximately 7:15 am that led to two separate fires started by one 26 year old transient man on private lands east of Pincher Creek. Responding were two engines out of Pincher Creek, and a tender out of Beaver Mines. No structures or fences were involved in either fire. The man was arrested and charged under the Recreational Access Act with lighting a fire on farmland without consent, and was released the same day.
