Clean up time, Pincher Creek

The Pincher Creek Communities in Bloom Committee is participating in the annual Pitch-In Canada program again this spring. This is a national program to encourage communities to take volunteer action for community clean-up, recycling etc. Participation can help us to gain recognition for Community Involvement and Tidiness under the Communities in Bloom Program.

There are two ways you can get involved this year!

CLEAN SWEEP

Individually or with a group, organize a “Clean Sweep” clean-up from April 20 to May 20, 2015. If you intend to participate please register your planned clean-up (location, time, group name) through myself or the Recreation Office 403-627-4322 so that we can avoid duplication of clean-up areas.

20 MINUTE MAKEOVER

Individually, as a business or group you can participate in a “20 Minute Makeover” day on Friday, April 24, 2015. For 20 minutes during the day of April 24, go outside to pick-up litter, remove weeds or tall grass etc. around your home or place of work.

FREE garbage bags, and disposable gloves are available if required. Which can be dropped off or picked up at any time. We can also arrange pick-up of full bags.
