Lundbreck's Senior Boys Livingstone Sabres basketball team travelled to Hines Creek March 19-21 to compete in the ASAA 1A Boys High School Provincials. The Sabres had a bye in the first round, defeated Parkland Immanuel 77-47 in the second round, defeated Daysland 81-50 in the semi-final, and were defeated 73-60 by Grand Trunk Grizzlies in the final. Gold for the Grizzlies, silver for the Sabres.
Last year the Sabres finished 4th at Provincials, with many of the same players. Next season it is expected the whole team will return, a season that will conclude with the Sabres hosting Provincials at Matthew Halton High School.
