Pincher Creek Co-op held their annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Co-op grocery store on the evening of Sunday, March 29, 2015. Over one hundred kids gathered around the store entrance to visit with Cooper the Co-op mascot and to wait for their turn to hunt for candy.

Organizers let groups of children into the store based on age group. The youngest children went in first, then they let in the next oldest age group until all the children had the chance to hunt for eggs. Siblings waited for their turn and moms and dads watched the action through the windows and gate.

"This year we have 200 pounds of candy," said Grocery Manager Shannon Donovan, who added that this tradition has been going since at least 2010. There were chocolate eggs, candy, gum, even the occasional toy scattered in the aisles by staff for every group of kids that participated.

At the end of the event the aisles were 'swept clean' by the last group of remaining children. They had no time limit, just the directive to make sure that all the loose candy on the floor was gone with them.
