Council for the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 recently approved repairs to the Waterton Bridge strip deck. The project is to be completed by Volker Stevin at an estimated budget of $98,000. Funding is to come from an account of approximately $105,000 of Provincial funds held in trust, a result of previous bridge projects coming in under budget. Alberta Transportation requested that the MD identify a suitable bridge project to use the funds on.
