St. Michael's French Kindergarten class visited Ranchland Mall on Friday, February 6. The nine children on the trip got to tour the Co-op food store, including the bakery, deli, produce, and meat departments. The students learned more about food during their visit, where it comes from, healthy choices, and jobs in the store. They all got to decorate a cupcake of their own with icing, sprinkles, and decorations.

The whole Kindergarten class opted to share with Kage, a young passer-by who asked to share in the activity He was accepted enthusiastically by the students. After the cupcakes the group proceeded to ParentLink where they got the chance to play and have snacks. The whole class agreed it was a good outing.
