On January 25, 2015, the Blood Tribe Police Service Crime Reduction Unit received an anonymous tip from the community, based on the information provided a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on a residence in the community of Standoff. Located inside the residence was sawed off shotgun, shotgun ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and a sword.
Willis Quincy House, age 32, of Hobbema, was charged with possession of weapon dangerous to the public, possession of prohibited weapon, careless storage of a prohibited firearm, related offences. House’s first court appearance is scheduled for February 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the Provincial Courthouse in Cardston, Alberta.
