The Rocky Mountain 4-H Swine Club has had many activities since our reorganizational meeting in October. We have had 4 club meetings, attended 3 district meetings, and 2 committee meetings.

In November we laid a wreath at the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the community hall. Our club attended the District Executive Workshop at the horseshoe pavilion. Also the RMSC participated in the Parade Of Lights, our hard work in planning,decorating,and working together paid off by receiving second place for our float.

After our December meeting we had a secret Santa gift exchange, Mexican potluck supper, visiting and games.

On January 16th all members took part in our Community Service event, playing Bingo and visiting with the residents at Crestview Lodge, which was enjoyed by all. After our meeting we all hustled to the horseshoe pavilion and attended the District Communications Workshop, and barbecue supper, followed by the district fun event swimming at the pool.

Plans for February include our monthly meeting, club communications on the 18th at the former Fields Store in the Co-op Mall, Regional Calgary Flames Hockey Game on the 20th, and a District meeting scheduled for the 23rd.

Members have been working on their record books, presentations, and looking forward to getting their projects in March.
