Pincher Creek's Novice B Chinooks kept their excellent record intact after an 8-6 win on the road against Taber 2 on Sunday, January 26. The Chinooks were off to a quick start, but Taber made them work for it, coming back hard to end the first period 4-3 Chinooks. A strong second period for the Chinooks had them up 8-4 at the end of the second. Two quick ones from Taber and well matched play made for a tight third period, but the Chinooks held on to win it 8-6. 7 wins and a tie for the Chinooks so far this season. They are currently tied with Raymond 1 for first place in the Spud League standings. Raymond 1 is also 7-0-1 for the season so far. The Chinooks and Raymond 1 played to a 6-6 tie on January 10.
