Pincher Creek Emergency Services (PCES) and RCMP responded to two blown over tractor-trailers on Highway 22 approximately 10 km north of Highway 3. The first call came in at just after 5:00 pm, and the second incident occurred just after 6:30 pm just north of the first incident. PCES Deputy Chief Pat Neumann reports no injuries in either incident. The first tractor trail was northbound and came to rest in the ditch. The second incident is still being resolved at this time (7:35 pm, December 23) and Highway 22 is partially blocked at the scene. Neumann reports wind gusts over 100km/hr in the area. It was difficult to stand up against the wind at the time the attached photos were taken, at approximately 5:45 pm. PCES response included first responders from Lundbreck and Pincher Creek.
