Thrills and chills at 2014 Co-op haunted house

Today's special: terror
Toni Lucas

Pincher Co-op held their 3rd annual haunted house on three days in October, the 26, 28, and 30. Screams echoed through out the mall, some were moved to tears, and some were scared speechless. Many of the kids said it was better than last year. Adults and teens were welcome to tour through at their own risk. The Gatekeeper said that almost all the children that entered came back out, eventually.

Heroes, Princesses, and Dragons!

The maze of darkness, a haunted forest, the ogre butcher, and the window of terror were some of the features of the tour.  At least it seemed that they were.  The darkness, fog and flashing lights made it hard to see anything clearly but the bloody footprints.  The screams were a bit unsettling too.

Kids were guided through and got a treat from Co-op at the end as a prize for their trip.  Crow Signs gave out individualized photo towels that said 'I survived the Haunted House', a nice keepsake from a trip through terror.

The Head Man, well - he was carrying a head, said that they approximately 460 people went in over the three days, 200 on the last night.  No final word on how many came out, though...
