Pincher Creek RCMP and EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover east of town on Highway 507 east of Range Road 291 on Saturday November 1 at 4:23 pm. According to Pincher Creek RCMP Detachment Commander Sgt. Dixon, the 14 year old driver of the vehicle advised police that he was feeling excessively tired, nodded off, and his tires slipped over the edge of the pavement, resulting in the rollover. There were three passengers in the vehicle in addition to the driver. All four were transported to Pincher Creek Health Centre as a precaution, but only one person was found to have suffered minor injuries.

Sgt. Dixon said alcohol was not a factor in the incident, and no charges have been laid.
