Discounting Lethbridge, there are only 2 registered volleyball officials now residing in the Westwind Volleyball League area, one in Pincher Creek and one in Claresholm. It is important to increase this number to help develop the game of volleyball in our area, and also to reduce officiating costs.
The Volleyball Officials of Southern Alberta (SAVOA) will be holding a Level 1 Officiating Theory Clinic at the University of Lethbridge on September 11 from 6-9 pm and a Practical September 12 and 13. For more information contact Karl at 403-394-3688 or visit
