Pincher Creek RCMP responded to a quad accident 5 kilometres south of Cowley between 8:30 and 9:00 pm Friday, September 5, approximately five kilometres south of Cowley. Also responding were Cowley Fire and a Pincher Creek Emergency Services ambulance. The individual was discovered to be deceased on-scene.
According to RCMP Cpl. Jeffrey Feist the victim was a 62 year old man from Pincher Creek Hutterite Colony who veered off the road and hit a barbed wire fence. No foul play is suspected and there is no criminal investigation at this time. The man's name is not being released at this time.
