SASG fitness competition drew competitors from across Southern Alberta

Toni Lucas - "We actually got asked if we would like to put an event into the Southern Alberta Summer Games," said Pincher Creek CrossFit Facility Owner Paula Szaroz.  "It was an awesome opportunity, and we went for it.  We weren't sure how many competitors we would get as there's only three or four CrossFit  gyms in southern Alberta so we weren't really sure what the turn out would be.  We ended up with 46 athletes, which is awesome."

"We had some regional athletes come out which really amped up the competition.  It made it more exciting and fun.  We had kids ages 8 - 12 to experienced athletes, to first time competitors, to regional athletes.  It was a really fun competition for everybody."  Szaroz was delighted with how well everything worked out and appreciated the work of the volunteers.
