Voice vs CTV Lindy Jessen photos
^ Lethbridge CTV's Brendan Miller and me, Pincher Creek Voice's Toni Lucas, were both covering the SASG on Saturday, July 5. Miller has covered a number of stories in Pincher Creek. It was good to see a colleague that was willing to get into the spirit of friendly competition. As for the SASG he said "This town is intense!". Miller and I first met while both covering a story in the spring of 2013 (Rural Physician Action Plan stages accident simulation in Pincher Creek. Click here to read that story) - T. Lucas

Fred Monk with prize winning bucking bronc photo
^ Fred Monk of Bow Island is an avid photographer and entered a few photos into the games. He is happy about his personal award of Gold in the adult sports category for his photo of a bucking bronco. He is delighted at the results of his students. Monk instructed a 5 day class of photography to 8 students and many of them submited photos and Monk was happy to point their photos out. Monk said that the class used 'point and click' cameras for the most part, but learned how to get more out of their cameras. You can see the results for yourself at Matthew Halton High School Photography Exhibit between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm during the games. - Toni Lucas
