Pincher Creek and Lundbreck Fire responded to a grass fire near Highway 22 roughly 2 kilometres north of Highway 3 at approximately 10:30 am on Canada Day, July 1. Personnel using Fire engines #11 from Pincher Creek and Lundbreck Engine #14 had the blaze under control quickly with no damage to buildings or injuries to people.
