Pincher Creek's Dustin Flundra won the Saddle Bronc title today at the Calgary Stampede, earning $100,000 for his effort.
Dustin is a three time Canadian Champion. He has qualified for the CFR fourteen times and the WNFR twice. He is a regular competitor at Calgary as this will be his thirteenth consecutive trip to the Calgary Stampede. He was the champion or co-champion of four rodeos in 2013 and five in 2012. This year started on the right foot for Dustin winning the Kananaskis ProRodeo, Dawson Creek Spring Rodeo and Broncs and Honky Tonks Rodeo. His highest ranked ride is 91.5 points and his favorite draw is Calgary Stampede's Lynx Mountain. Outside of saddle bronc riding Dustin works as a rancher and is married to wife and world renowned trick rider, Niki Flundra. ~ http://cs.calgarystampede.com
