Dramatic wounds at St. Michael's School

A zombified Legacy Krampl

St. Michael's School Drama students, under the tutelage of Diana Smith, have been wounding themselves and each other again.  For their end of the school year project they created makeup wounds, as they did last year, with some startling results, examples of which are pictured here.

The zombie theme has proven to be a popular choice, according to Mrs. Smith.  She intends to round out the makeup lessons with some prettier stuff, fantasy masks and the like, as the school year winds down.  The students pictured here are from grades 6 to 10, but the class also includes grade 11 and 12 students.  The Junior High kids did it for fun and to learn, and the Senior High projects were marked.

Chante Bastien's bloodied hand
The glass in Chante Bastien's bloodied hand is real (the wound is makeup, of course), and was salvaged from the site of last year's mock accident, which featured St. Michael's Drama students as accident victims.  Click here for that story: Rural Physician Action Plan stages accident simulation in Pincher Creek
