The following area parks and recreation areas are reported to be closed or partially closed at the time this is being published due to weather releated situations (information as current as possible at 5:30 pm, June 19, 2014).
- Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada - Heavy rains have triggered a flood watch in Waterton Lakes National Park, and led to some area closures. Crandell Mountain Campground and Belly River Campground are closed due to overflowing culverts. Campers are being asked to go to Townsite Campground. Red Rock Parkway is closed. The Marquis Hole road is closed. Click here for updates on the situation.
- Lundbreck Falls - Partially closed. The lower campground is closed. (The upper campground is still open.) Park visitors are advised to stay clear of flowing water (streams and rivers). Water levels in rivers are subject to sudden change.
- Livingstone Falls - Livingstone Falls Provincial Recreation Area is closed due to no road access from either south or north along the Forestry Trunk Road. There is a washout on Forestry Trunk Road (secondary Highway 940) between Speer's and Bruin Creek. Barricades are up. Use caution on all roads in the M.D. of Ranchland at this time. There could be undetectable unstable conditions. Secondary Road 532 is closed (just west) at Indian Graves Provincial Recreation Area.
- Castle Falls - Castle Falls Provincial Recreation Area is closed due to the threat of flooding.
- Beaver Mines Lake - The access road to Beaver Mines Lake Provincial Recreation Area is washed out. The campground is closed.
- Park Lake Provincial Park - Group Use Area A is closed due to high water levels.
- Oldman River Provincial Recreation Area is closed due to the flooding threat.
- Oldman Dam Provincial Recreation Area - Cottonwood campground, Three Rivers group use area and Boulder Run day use area are closed due to risk of flooding.
