The event was open to all those who volunteer in our area and those who are curious about the many volunteer opportunities available. Booths lined the room, representing 13 of the many organizations in our community that rely on volunteer participation. Over 269 people attended.

"To the volunteers who make this community a better place.," said Reeve Brian Hammond. "Every time you participate in an activity, assist in some kind of project or event, give up your time and talent, as a member of a service club or organization, when you make a commitment to support a worthy cause, either as an individual or as a member of a group, in all these ways you lift up our community and help to improve the quality of life for those who call this place home."
