Spud League season ends for Novice Chinooks

On Saturday February 22 Pincher Creek's Novice Chinooks travelled to Irvine for the first of two Spud League playoff games.  The Irvine Bulldogs won that game 10-3.  The next day the Chinooks hosted the Bulldogs at the MCC arena. The Bulldogs were on their way to a shut-out until Drew Stuckey of the Chinooks put one on the board for his team early in the third period. Jaydon Draper also scored for the Chinooks late in the period, assisted by Joah Randall.

The Novice Chinooks demonstrated remarkable growth this season in terms of teamwork, skating skills, stick handling, and fundamentals.
