A tractor trailer met with a nasty combination of wind and ice at approximately 2:00 pm on February 13. The accident occurred on Highway 22 approximately 20 miles north of the Highway 3/Highway 22 junction. The tractor trailer crashed through a guard rail and slid downhill on its side until it came to rest, according to Pincher Creek Emergency Services Chief Dave Cox. Lundbreck Fire and Pincher Creek Fire responded.
The occupant of the vehicle was assessed for possible injuries and released at the scene.
