Grande Prairie RCMP looking for cement mixture load owner after collision
On Saturday, January 11, 2014 at approximately 10 a.m. a one ton pick-up truck towing a trailer collided with a bag of unmixed cement that was in the north bound driving lane of Highway 40 just south Sexsmith, AB. The truck sustained significant damage as a result of the collision. Police believe that the bag of cement mix was not intentionally placed on the roadway. It most likely fell off another vehicle that was transporting it. The cement mix was in a black bag with red strapping. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the collision.
RCMP are hoping that the person hauling this material will come forward and self identify. Alternatively, if someone recognizes this bag or have any information about who might have been hauling it around the time of the collision to please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5701.
