Peewee Chinooks take first place at Innisfail tournament

Pincher Creek's Peewee Chinooks earned first place at the Innisfail tournament held on the weekend.  The Chinooks won all three of their games.

The Chinooks played two games on Saturday, January 18.  First they blanked Airdrie's Ghostriders 4-0. Then they blanked Lacombe's Rockets 11-0.  Chinooks goalie Wes Krampe earned his first two career shut-outs in those games.  On Sunday, January 19 they defeated tournament host the Innisfail Flyers 5-3.

The Chinooks have three league away games scheduled before they bring it back home for a game against Kainai on Saturday February 8, starting at 1:00 pm.  The next day, February 9, they are scheduled to host Lethbridge 4 at 1:45 pm.
