Matthew Halton Hawks Junior A Boys basketball team hosted the Livingstone School Sabres on Tuesday, January 28.  The Sabres won by a wide margin.

The Hawks are showing improvement. They do not always make the connection with each other and still could have better communication between players. As theirs kills and confidence grow this team is going to make headway. Both Matthew and Vincent sank some beautiful baskets and Jack also made it to the scoreboard.  Ryan has growing confidence on the court, and his ball handling has improved dramatically.

The Sabres are a fast, organized team that have a lot of the fundamentals of the game understood, and they are developing their strategic plays. Many on the team show a great awareness of the ball and the other players around them, and they make their own opportunities.
