Pincher Creek Emergency Services attended 2 calls on Tuesday, December 18



Toni Lucas - Pincher Creek Emergency Services Chief Dave Cox said that two situations occurred yesterday on Tuesday, December 17.   There was a motor vehicle collision on Highway 3, and a fire in Pincher Creek close to midnight.

The motor vehicle accident occurred on highway 3 close to Lundbreck at approximately 8:00 pm.  A car hit a truck in a rear end collision.  Cowley Fire, Lundbreck Fire, and Pincher Creek Ambulance and Pincher Creek rescue attended the scene.  There were good road conditions at the time of the accident.  Everyone involved was assessed on site and released.

Close to midnight later that evening crews were called to a fire inside the town of Pincher Creek after a couch on a deck started on fire.  The owner of the house and RCMP were fighting the fire when Pincher Creek Fire and Ambulance arrived.

The flames were quickly controlled and no one was injured.  There was minor damage to the house and deck.
