Loretta Packham of Mrs. P's Coffee Corner in the Ranchland Mall held her annual 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Dinner event on Friday, December 20. Staff served dinner while dressed in their pajamas, music and entertainment was supplied by Ricky Wood, and prizes were given out for the best snowman in the contest that has been being held in the mall for the last month. Mrs. P also held a draw for 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' themed prizes.
The first place winner for the Snowman contest was Vista Village. Representatives Kathy Klein and Charlotte Ames were happy to accept the $100.00 prize. Klein said that the money will go into the crafting supplies budget up at the senior facility. "It was a real group effort, we had fun," said Ames.
Second place winners were Heather, Annie, and Quinn with their 'Mrs. Snowflake', and third went to Joey and Cindy Jackson with 'Toasty the Snowman'.
