Crestview Lodge held their annual Tea and Bazaar on Thursday, December 5. Guests and residents were treated to a wide array of baked goods and handmade crafts that covered the tables on the lower level while the tea took place on the main floor.

There were door prizes, a silent auction, and a raffle draw for three prizes: a cedar chest, an afghan and a toy ark. Charmain Tienkamp and Millie Loeffler had John Sinnott draw the raffle tickets from a cedar chest that he had made. Pauline Simard was the winner of the chest.

"We thought that this year we would like to donate to the Hobby Club for the new gazebo," said Margorie Rigaux who presented John Sinnott with a check from the United Church Thrift Store funds for $250.00. "We felt it was an important community addition for those hosting summer and family events here."

"Thank you to the United Church for this generous donation," said Sinnott. "This will be used to help build the gazebo."
All proceeds from the day go to the Crestview Hobby Club, who have been focused on building a recreation area in the back area for the enjoyment of the residents.
