With the departure of Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament for Macleod, there will be a new race in the near future. Phil Rowland will be stepping up to campaign to represent his riding in Ottawa.

Phil, born and raised in the High River area, is a fourth generation farmer/rancher who co- owns and manages two agricultural operations:  his farm at Mazeppa and his ranch at Longview.   He is married to Pam and they have 3 children: two daughters and a son plus one granddaughter.


Experience on his own operation, and in the pipeline industry has provided valuable personal experience to the many Boards and Committees.  His membership in, and his leadership of the many Boards and Committees have brought him into contact with many political entities ranging from Mayors and Council, MD Councillors and Alberta Government officials up to and including MLA’s., MP’s and Senators.  He is respected for his advocacy and his thoughtful participation at all of the tables.

Phil is committed to his region, to Alberta and to Canada.  He feels privileged to live, work, and raise a family in this area.  He is recognized for his leadership in many organizations and his ability to listen to and digest information.  He is ready to listen to and advocate for the constituents of Macleod.
