Pincher Creek Legion donates to Care Bears and Crestview Lodge

Pincher Creek Legion #43 presented two Poppy Fund cheques this morning.

The first was a $1000 donation to Care Bears, accepted by Pat Bratz and Doris Rowledge .  Care Bear volunteers transport clients in the Pincher Creek area to appointments, generally out of town to Lethbridge, Calgary, Blairmore and Fort Macleod.  The Care Bears wish to send their love to founding member Isobel Lank, who started Care Bears 24 years ago.

The second was a $2500 donation to the Pincher Creek Foundation/Crestview Lodge, accepted by Crestview resident John Sinnott.
