The Livingstone Sabres Junior Girls volleyball team hosted their St. Michael's Dragons counterparts on Tuesday evening October 8. It was good to see a lot of support out for both teams. In a best of three sets match, the Dragons took the first two sets 14 - 25 and 20 - 25, making them the winners of the match.
The two teams played the final set and the Sabres showed their mettle and took the final set 25 - 15 for a final score tally of 2 sets to 1for the Dragons.
Coach Francis Krizan and Emily Milligan are coaching the Junior Girls volleyball team for St. Michael's Dragons. Krizan feels that the whole team is working together better as a team, saying they are starting to understand the basics of the game well, both in principle and application.
Livingstone Sabres Coach Sharon Halibert said that this is the fourth game for the team. "They have been steadily improving every game. There has been a lot of confidence building."
