Thank You!

Castle-Crown Wilderness Coalition in partnership with AB Parks held the 6th Annual West Castle Wetlands Ecological Reserve Weed Pull on July 23, 2013. Thank you to all who came out and helped us to remove invasive species from the Wetlands.

A special thank you to our funders whose ongoing support helps the CCWC to host the annual weed pull and many other projects; AB Parks, Alberta Conservation Association, Oldman Watershed Council, Alberta Ecotrust and the Mountain Equipment Co-op 

Again thank you to all the volunteers for making this a successful event. A reduction of invasive plants is evident within the wetland.  We hope to see you again next year for the 7th Annual weed pull on Wednesday July 23, 2014.

    Yay weed-pullers! Although not a lot of people from the cattle/ranching community may post their appreciation here, we're all huge fans! We're probably busy on our own places pulling, whacking, bagging, chopping etc. trying to stem the tide. "Ranchers: The Original Environmentalists!" (Now, what are we going to do about all those weeds in Town......?)
