Following the recent Ranchland Hockey League (RHL) AGM on August 25th, the Okotoks Drillers were officially announced as a new team in the league, which now has 5 teams scheduled for the 2013-2014 season. The Drillers will be playing out of a new complex being built in Okotoks. The RHL is a Senior Hockey Alberta league which includes Pincher Creek's Senior Huskies, a team that first competed last season.
The RHL will also be introducing a 4 man officiating system to 25 percent of their games, something Hockey Alberta has introduced to the Senior program.
The Senior Huskies have scheduled a conditioning camp for September 22, 24, 26 and 28 at the Coleman rink, ice times from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm for all evenings.
