Susan Hochstein contributed these pictures taken yesterday evening August 7 of what appears to be a wall cloud type of tornado* attempting to form near Pincher Creek. Hochstein said the formation was visibly whirling.
*Note: We don't have a meteorologist on the payroll here at the Pincher Creek Voice, so we've asked for a more educated analysis of these photos from other sources. If and when we get more information we'll update this story.

It's just a wall cloud, not a tornado.
