Pincher Creek Emergency Services responded Friday afternoon July 12 to a report of a gas leak on the road to Beauvais Lake. An excavator hit a domestic natural gas line, causing the leak. Emergency Services isolated the site while a utility company exposed the damaged line and pinched it off, halting the leak. No persons were harmed in the incident.
