Canada Day, Monday July 1, 2013
Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village, 1037 Bev McLachlin Drive, Pincher Creek.
Free admission for the day. Gates open at 10:30 am, flag raising ceremony and dedications at 12 pm. Day runs until 3:00 pm. There will be balloons, face painting, dino bouncing tent and 70' obstacle course for kids.
Music and entertainment provided by Pincher Creek Multimedia. Historical cabin tours and a concession.
Waterton Lakes National Park
In celebration of Canada’s 146th birthday on Monday July 1st, entry to Waterton Lakes National Park is free. Canada Day events begin with a decorated bike parade. Meet outside the Waterton United Church at 10:00 am with your decorated bicycle. The parade starts at 10:30 am.
Following the parade, there will be a flag raising ceremony. Free cake and lemonade and a $3 BBQ will be provided. Families can also pick up their free copy of the 2013 Xplorers booklet.
At 8:00 pm there will be evening programs at the Falls Theatre and the Crandell Theatre.
