These games were meant to be a fun way to wrap up the season after the planned season end tournament for Majors, Minors and Juniors Dust Devils were cancelled due to weather complications. The opportunity to go out and have one more crack at bat seemed to be welcomed by all.

Coach Rory from Crowsnest Pass put Spencer, Jace, Cam, Colby and Tavin in to pitch. Pincher Creek had Majors, two Minors and one Juniors player on the field. "Pretty much the whole team pitched," said Pincher Coach Jeff Kaupp. "This was a chance for the kids to try out new positions, new things that they wanted to do. We had them play every position that they wanted to, today was about fun. It's been a good year, all around, and the kids had a lot of fun."
"Each and every one of the kids improved over the course of the year, and that's why we're here," said Coach Rory. "So many weekends that have been rained out, including the year end tournament. This was meant to be fun, and was a good way to wrap up the end of the year, we're glad that we were able to come. Overall, we're really happy." Rory admits that due to weather problems, the kids didn't get as much time on the diamonds as they are used to. "We're hoping to get more of the kids involved in summer ball, and all-star programs."
The kids seemed to know that the pressure was off on Saturday. They were there to have fun, and the skills that they had been working on throughout the season came into play in a more relaxed manner.

| AN intermission with Pink |
Pincher Creek's #17 Sydney was one of those having a good game, connecting with the ball more solidly during her turns at bat. She also brought her horse Pink to the game because she was busy earlier at a 4-H event nearby. Pink hung out in the shade and was a hit with the baseball crowd.
The two teams have a truly friendly rivalry. Three players from the Crowsnest Pass team will be joining the Pincher baseball team for the Southern Alberta Summer Games and Pincher players will join the Crowsnest Pass team for that event.
Coach Kaupp said that the Majors Dust Devils Parents/Kids Fun Game is scheduled for Saturday June 29. After the game, the kids will go and take in a Bulls baseball game in Lethbridge.
