Vista Village in Pincher Creek feted eight residents that have their birthdays in the month of June at a party held June 20.
The band Orange Blossom Express came from the Granum/Claresholm area to entertain the crowd that gathered. Jenette O'Brien, Elizabeth Stuckey, Anne Lundy, Midge Patterson, Agnes Mitchell, June Phillips, Leslie Crawford and Eileen Leal all are June celebrants, with the most senior being Stuckey at 97, and the youngest being Crawford at 80.
Cake was presented to celebrants one by one, with a candle for them to blow out, before the desserts were served to everyone who attended.
