Southwest Barrel Racing Series returns

The 2013 season began for the Southwest Barrel Racing Series with two events at the Pincher Creek Rodeo Grounds, the first on Wednesday May 15 and the second a week later on May 29.

On May 15 Jolayne Collings rode Tucker for the 1D win with a time of 15.237.  That's still the best overall time to beat this season so far.  Terryl Woodward rode Smokem for 1D second place with a time of 15.621. Jocelyn Olsen rode Rebel for the 2D win with a time of 16.304. Tisha Grove rode Gonzo for second place in the 2D with a time of 17.454.  Sherry rode Queen for the 3D win with a time of 17.339.

On May 29 Josey Doenz rode Oakie for the 1D win with a time of 15.907.   Terryl Woodward rode Smokem for second in the 1D with a time of 15.916.  Jolayne Collings took third in the 1D riding Tucker to a time of 15.947.  Lisa Smith and Copper were tops in the 2D category with a time of 16.343. Kathy Flundra and Reba were second in 2D with a time of 16.450.  Josey Doenz rode Cole to third place in 2D with a time of 16.460.  Martina Lively rode Reno for 3D first place with a time of 16.961.  Amanda McLeod and Gus took 3D second with a time of 16.985, and Toni Bryans rode Apache to a time of  17.082 for 3rd in 3D.
