The Town of Pincher Creek, Municipal District of Pincher Creek No. 9 and the Alberta Recycling Council are teaming up to sponsor Pincher Creek's annual E-Waste/Toxic Roundup and Re-Use Fair, which will be held at the Ranchland Mall parking lot on Saturday, June 15 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm . Some events run during a more limited time-frame (see below).
The Rotary Club will b holding a Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Children's World Daycare will be providing a BBQ Lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Pincher Planters will be holding their annual Perennial Plant Exchange. The Lion's Club is asking for donations of old hearing aids, eyeglasses, and aluminum can tabs.
The Re-use Fair (8:00 am-3:00 pm) is an opportunity to drop of household and yard items that are still in working condition for exchange or donation by the public. No refrigerators please. No drop-offs before 8:00 am or after 1:00 pm.
The Rotary E-Waste Round Up (8:00 am-3:00 pm) is a chance to drop off computers and electronics for recycling.
Toxic Waste Round Up (9:00 am-1:00 pm) is for the disposal of old paints and chemicals. No drop-offs before 9:00 am.
Lion's Club Recycling Boxes (9:00 am-3:00 pm) will be on site for used eyeglasses and hearing aids, and for aluminum can tabs.
Mobile Paper Shredding (9:00 am-3:00 pm) is for residential use only, bring any paper products to shred.
Crowsnest Pass/Pincher Creek Landfill Association will be collecting metal and will also be taking items that are not reusable to the landfill.
