Pincher Creek's U18 (under 18) soccer team played their first game of the season last weekend, an away game against Fort Macleod.   The Pincher team won that one 4-2.  On Monday, May 13 they hosted Elkford  for a rainy game at Sproule Field.  The skies cleared up for the end of the game, but not before everyone was soaked and cold. Pincher Creek won that game 7-3.

Pincher Creek was a sharp team last year, and they look like an even sharper team this year.  League rules say that each team must have at least three girls or forfeit one player on the field.   Pincher Creek has three girls, and they had to play the whole game to avoid that disadvantage.  Two of the Pincher Creek team members are actually from Crowsnest Pass.
