U-14 Pincher Creek (PC) met with Crowsnest Pass (CNP) on the soccer field behind the Pincher Creek swimming pool May 14, 2013.  Wind was a factor in this game with the ball staying on the east end of the field  for much of the time.  That did not deter either team from putting in a great effort.

In the first half, Pincher Creek was not in their own territory often,  taking the offensive and driving the ball east towards CNP goal using good mechanics and teamwork.  They just could not get the ball through the final line of the CNP defense as often as they were positioned for a goal.  CNP rarely threatened Pincher's territory, but  when they took control of the ball and drove it west to the Pincher goal, they would make maximum use of their effort.  The first half ended 3-2  for Pincher.

The second half of the game had Pincher fighting against the wind.  Pass players used the advantage the wind afforded them, pushing hard and keeping control of the ball during much of the play.  Both teams played a hard game, exhibited good footwork, and demonstrated a good understanding of the fundamentals of the game.   The game ended with the final score 3 - 5 for Crowsnest Pass.
