An all-party legislature committee is seeking written submissions from the public as part of its review of Bill 204: Irlen Syndrome Testing Act. Irlen Syndrom, also known as scotopic sensitivity syndrome and visual disturbance syndrome, is a perceptual disorder.
“This Bill was referred to our committee by the Legislative Assembly on April 22,” explained Dave Quest, MLA for Strathcona-Sherwood Park and chair of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. “We will be inviting stakeholders to provide information and would also very much like to hear from members of the public.”
The public is welcome to share their thoughts with the committee through written submissions by July 5, 2013. The Standing Committee on Families and Communities is an all-party committee consisting of 18 Members of the Legislative Assembly with a mandate relating to areas of Health, Human Services, Justice and Solicitor General, Culture, Education and Service Alberta
