Sage Bruder of Pincher Creek took this photo recently at Burbridge Farms (Burdett), where she works.
"It didn't weigh more then 50lbs and we are guessing it was a twin because she (the mother) is a pretty big cow to have a calf that small," explained Bruder, "but she didn't have another one in her so it probably died early in the pregnancy inside her and her body would of just consumed the other calf."
"The cat usually licks new calves but didn't want anything to do with this one for some reason."
