2013 Blue Weed Blitz to be held July 13

Pincher Creek Watershed Group's 11th annual  Blue Weed Blitz will be held Saturday, July 13 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Starting location:  Grier-Buhrmann Ranch on the Christie Mines Road
5429 Rg. Rd. 1-1

Gather at 10 am at the Grier Burhmann Ranch on the Christie Mines Road.  Participants will need to bring water, sunscreen, lunch, sturdy footwear and work gloves.  Teams of weed pullers will organize and make their way to a work areas along the Pincher Creek.  After a day pulling weeds, participants will return to the staging area at 4:30 for BBQ, garbage bag count, and awards ceremony.
