| First practice of the year at MCC arena |
Two sure signs of spring in Pincher Creek last week: Snowy weather and baseball practices. An initial introductory event on Sunday, April 14 was moved to the Memorial Community Centre Arena because of the weather. On Thursday evening, April 11 several members of the Senior Dust Devils were spotted through the fog/sleet/snow at Sproule Field.
According to Pincher Creek Minor Baseball Association President Carrah Pinder-Walter the organization is still looking for a couple of T-Ball coaches for Mondays. "I would like to thank all those that have stepped up to coach," she said. "Without them our program can't run. I greatly appreciate it!"
Pincher Creek Minor Baseball will Host Pitch, Hit and Run for ages 7-14 on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Juan Teran Park. Details to be announced.
