Council for the Town of Pincher Creek depends on volunteers for the successful operation of its Boards and Committees, and is currently seeking public member applicants for:
MDSA (Municipal Development & Subdivision Authority) Committee
Total Committee Composition: 5
Current Opportunities: 2
Term: 2 -3 years
Meetings: 8:00 am, 3rd Tuesday monthly as required
Mandate: To make decisions on development permits and subdivision applications.
MDSA eligibility requirements for Council appointment are:
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- A Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant
- Town of Pincher Creek residence for the past six (6) consecutive months and during the appointment term
- Attendance at mandatory annual training day
- Meeting Remuneration (Regulatory Authority) Per Bylaw 1578-10
Applications for Citizen Appointment to Boards and Committees, MDSA Bylaw 1543-12 and Council Remuneration Bylaw 1578-10 may found at www.pinchercreek.ca or picked up at the Town Office between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday on regular work days. Questions may be referred to the Town Office 403-627-3156.
