Heritage Acres 26th Annual Show
Year of the Crawler
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 2-4, 2013
Heritage Acres features the crawler for their 26th annual show, with the participation of the John Deere Two Cylinder Club.
Featured events and demonstrations include:
- Tractor pull and about 200 tractors on display.
- Threshing with a 1882 horse powered threshing machine.
- Drilling with a horse powered well-drilling outfit.
- Haying, stacking and binding.
- Steam-powered saw-mill, plowing and threshing.
- Parade of Power.
- Car show.
- Pancake breakfast.
- Beef supper
- Barn dance.
- Non-denominational church services in the Knox Presbyterian Church of Jumbo Valley.
To get there, travel 2 miles north of Pincher Creek to Pincher Station, 2 miles east on Highway #3 then 8 miles north on Highway #785 to Heritage Acres.
THE MUSEUM is open from May 1st to September 30th and features:
- Main display building.
- Dukhobor barn.
- Crystal Village.
- UGG elevator.
- Knox Presbyterian Church (1917).
- School and a 1940's log cabin open to the public.
- Model train building.
