Pincher Creek Co-op donated $3,000 to Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (KBPV) on March 26, 2013.  This represents the second payment that Pincher Creek Co-op has donated toward the creation of the Co-op Display that is taking place on the east side of the original museum building on the south end of James Avenue.   The total of the two donations adds up to $6,000.

"It is a very worthwhile cause for the community at large, and it's great that the facade that will be made by the benefactor of this money is really going to show the history of the Co-op over the last 91 years," said Co-op General Manager David Crowell.

"This is an awesome donation because we're going to start this project this spring, and hopefully it will be done by July 1.  It's nice to see that the Co-op is as committed to this project as we are," said Pincher Creek and District Historical Society President Colleen Casey-Cyr.

Louis Patterson posed with the antique truck that will become part of the permanent display at the museum.  Patterson is a retired Co-op employee who was a driver for Co-op for close to a decade back in the 1970's.  Although he never drove this particular truck in his time with Co-op, he did mention that the Dodge truck he did drive "fit him better".  Patterson also donated his Co-op hat (seen in photo)  from that time period to the KBPV collection.
